World Pharmacist Day 25.9.15

Started the day by getting into the team I am gonna work in in this new year
was made to understand what it really means to be in this profession
never personal, never individual
was made to understand the difference between a group and a team
It takes a green-and-blue person to be a good pharmacist, according to the speaker
Personally, I quite disagree with this statement. Everyone can make a good candidate, depending on how you behave and how discipline you are in face of professionalism,

quite like how they made us understand the importance of teamworking via Brazilian drumming!!!

have been educated abt teamworking for the past 2 days
had some experience and knowledge abt it from my previous project
got to really think abt it.
Was always reluctant or even resisted to be in a team in the past
I can be a good team player, by compromising my happiness
bcoz i could never trust ppl
today, I woke up earlier, gave myself a new mindset abt working in a team,
and there you go, things were very different today
it can be quite fun in a team~

A real big chapter! keep learning, keep applying !

4th Year Official Start Day!

Attended a conference to kick start my final year!
ppl has been asking abt my FYP, sorry to disappoint, we are a bunch of students under innovated learning, we did it during our 3rd year (grateful to be studying here, in this school in particular)
haha....this year gonna be very different though!

1.  "Example is not the main thing in influencing others. It is the only thing."

2.  You are the one who make changes happen! Profession doesnt stay always the same! You are the one who decide how its prospect gonna be.  You decide what you gonna be or do, calling urself a qualified pharmer.

3.  Leadership!  You lead the change! And, it takes time to change(some tens of years).

4.  Teamwork! You are not superior nor inferior in a multidisciplinary team.  But bear in mind tat there is a person who is much more important than urself. The PATIENT!

5.   "It's not the tools you have faith in-tools are just tools. They work or they dont.  It's the people you have faith in or not." Steve Jobs.
-Yes, gonna change my mindset. Guess this is the main barrier I have to be in a group.

Gonna enjoy my final year....might be the last year being a student!

Switzerland

Need not to say, breathtaking views! 

Swiss style architecture!

Swiss are very efficient, unlike Italians.

Couldnt describe Switzerland verbally!

The gist is, must visit at least once in life!!!

While u're young though.  

Swiss Alps might be too much for elders. When even myself suffered from altitude sickness.

Yes!!!I made it again!!!Shame on you acrophobia!!!

Pushed myself really hard, proud tat I made it!

Was on the sphinx (the top of europe) and was light-headed

Told myself tat i would definitely regret for not making to the edge of the viewing platform

Popped chocolate into my mouth,

Moved my feet step by step while murmuring "jia you" for every step moved

(looked like siao cha bo definitely)

When I was finally at the edge, a British guy standing beside me jumped on the platform which was made from material similar to a cage and the snow which originally occupying the space on the platform dropped off!!!! This left empty spaces on the platform where I could clearly see that i was floating on the sky.  OMGGGGGGGG.......

Was then dragged to the indoor by my travel buddy...

Great experience!!!

Italy

Italy is a very unique place whereby different cities within the same country can be very different.

Florence, Rome - Historic, artistic! 

• Have a feeling tat anyone in Florence can draw well.  Saw how skillful is their street artist!!!OMG!
• Met some famous Italian Mathematicians, scientists and philosophers here!! Love this feeling as if I was meeting my old frens!

Venice - Romantic!

Lido beach and islands like Murano, Burano - Relaxed!

Well, Italians are very easy-going in general.  Life should be taken at eased pace and things would be fixed tomorrow.  Enjoy the sunset~ 

Italian spaghetti and pizza are jz not ordinary ones.  Keep having it but wont feel that i've had enough.  5-courses meal is the lifestyle here. Just too much of food!!!!

Breakfast was horrible! They served CAKESSSS!!! Their croissant tasted like cake too!!!!!


Squid ink pasta - a must try!

Tiramisu - literally means 带我走！ Italian dessert!

France

Appreciate Parisian street view more than those popular sites

This is how every restaurant is like 

decorated with much flowers

One thing I love French is because of bread they bake!!!

They serve bread every meal.  Like Paris white bread!!!!

Croissant every morning tooo!!!

A must try : French fish soup served as starter!!! Taste pretty much like laksa!!!(if it is more sour and spicy)

Creme brulee! Really tasty!

If you like street exploring and immersing urself into local living pace, Paris is a good place to fit the purpose.  

Could never forget an impressive street around Latin Quarter!!! OMG...enjoyed the moment too much to take photo....TT sob sob!!

Okay, found it on google maps street view! Must visit : Rue Saint Severin! Go during day time when all the restaurants are open.  

Popular sites are definitely overrated!!!Canals are very dirty!!!

It is quite obvious that the city is not maintained well. 

France is a great place though, i mean the small towns like Avignon, Beaune and some villages in French Riviera.  Must visit a vineyard and drink some wine!

If I ever return to France, will only go to rural or small city.

Well, keep practising French!!!

Am happy that picking up French helps a lot during the trip.  

Most ppl in French Riviera only speak French. 

At least I communicated successfully to buy tickets and ordering food in restaurants.

Visiting France makes me love French even more!

Grateful tat i didnt only learn the language but also some French culture from my awesome lecturer during lecture. It was like seeing things described to u in the lecture to happen in front of my eyes.  Great experience!!!

晚餐最享受了。。因为大家不想带任何法郎回去， 

大家围在餐坐上， 把剩下的钱都掏出来，吃光光！

Switzerland is definitely a must visit!

Avignon, France

If there is one experience tat i must recommend, this is definitely the one.

Worth more than it costs i would say

bcoz there's no other similar show at any other places that i visited.

It was conducted as a story of the town.

Images are projected onto the walls of the palace at night where they enhanced the quality of show by enclosing the palace square to ensure complete darkness before the show begins.  

It was narrated in French the night i went. 

Glad tat i took French. Could pick up some simple terms but what i heard most was "Il / Elle parle......" (He / She said........."

I think it would be really perfect if we go at days where it is conducted in English.

Judging from the visual, the town has got an interesting story to tell.

just simply love the show!!!!

回到12度~~
希望冷到极点会是雪茫茫一片

人生第一个真正的暑假结束啦！

三个月就那么地过去了
好像是第一次那么悠闲
第一年暑假待在实验室
第二年待在医院，家里
第三年，待在离家很远的地方却得到100分100的自由
第一次感受到从18度到33度的地狱般折磨
第一次起床后爱干嘛就干嘛
泡杯茶，看杂志，故事书
开电脑听音乐，研究研究各个地方的吸引之处
去学校图书馆 或是 city council 的 公共图书馆
（有感而发， 去了那么多地方的图书馆， 相信自己和同胞是我看过最不爱看书的民族）
然后去了一些国家，认识一些人
也完成了小时候的梦想， 在国外餐厅打工
就这样， 3 个月过去了
好开心好满足
不开心的就忘了吧！
继续往前走， 加油！！！！
未来，或许就不能是以前我想过的一万种可能了。。。
加油！！！！明天会更好！

Hello, autumn again~
One yr has past!

Once-in-a-lifetime Europe Trip

Life was very different for the past 18days
Experienced how it feels to be a nomad
Time was moving real quick
reached a new city, explored it , left for another city
This cycle repeated itself for 18 days

Met a bunch of ppl who love travelling
many of them hv done Asia tour
some of them told me some attractions in my home country which I myself have not been to
Interacted with all of them
Canadians, Australians, Africans, Dutch, Americans and the British crews
This is very interesting, to have met and chatted with ppl of all sorts
we told each other how v were brought up, abt cultural background we live in
an impressive one was abt how parents in different places bring up their child.
Conclusion is, Italians and Chinese tend to be overprotective parents.
Witnessed how a pair of American dad and daughter interacted during the trip
haha.....I couldnt imagine if the relationship between daddy n me is one of the sort.
but yea, there is nth wrong with it,jz some cultural differences between nations that I gotta experience
BTW, i will miss her dad very much. He looks like my lecturer and he was the only person who always took photos from the angle that I thought was beautiful which everyone else didnt!

The tour leader was a nice and humorous guy!
always helped to create good atmosphere no matter where we were
After realising that I m one of the adventurer traveler type, he suggested some "practical" ways for me to get to where I wanted to go for free!!hahahaa.....Love his acting skills.

Although they made me feel very uncomfortable for being called "Team M", I did enjoy the companion of everyone in the tour group
Really really wish that we will run into each other again one day in the future!
Amazed by their wonder lust and their spirit to leave a footprint everywhere on the earth.

Conclusion of the trip
