Me: what has caused the delay? R u ok?
Landlord: ah,  fine.... U know,  it is always jammed whenever there's a match.  Do u like football?? I can show u where the field is.
Me: nah,  it is ok. I m not into sports.

they are looking into viral genes found in mammals
it is found that human syncytin is made from viral gene incorporated into human gene long long time ago where evolution is in its place
they hypothesised that the virus might have infected the egg or sperm to make their way into human gene
am more curious on the part where their search for viral genes in pigs and horses which are also mammals, has come to no avail!

Road not taken

option 1 : choose those easy, not challenging ones, save the points!Free time for other new experience.
option 2 : choose wat i'm interested in, very challenging, hv to put in much effort, no more free time to try others out, might end up with lil points

erm, i jz wanna record the process of this decision making
so tat i wont regret the choice made in the future as i hv taken all into account
N tis is a sound n thorough decision making
At this point, i m very sure of my choice
i hv the confidence to accomplish wat i wish to
even though it might not guarantee a perfect outcome
i know very well tat i will definitely regret if i choose the other path now
so, yea, BYE, the road not taken!
Take the risk, explore the other possibilities unseen at the moment!!!!

Art and science

Walked into the art n new theatre building today
My first thought was "most probably i will leave in a while.... U know,  i m never an art person."
Then this caught my eyes

1st of all,  i saw the type of shoes i like most
Then for a minute or two,  i was recalling those times where i had it on my feet (i had a pair when i was a kid)
After abt 3 minutes standing in front of the art piece,  suddenly i realised there r 23 pairs there n the last one is named XX instead of being numbered!

But yea,  i still dun get it
If it is XX, y male shoes are included in the artwork?
Well,  nvm,  i can never comprehend art...

so i hv much of learnings in the hospital

well, wat i wanna say is

i find tat the system makes a lot of sense to me

b4 tis

wat u learn is all paper-based

i mean i know theories r important, but they r jz theories if not being put into actions/daily life

here, you can see everything happens by ur own eyes

u see doctors, nurses, patients n whoever u need to see

u observe the whole process

oh god!!!!i know i'm blessed

to hv tis world class education here

jz wanna say, if one day, i achieve under expectation 

i would hv no excuse at all for my failure

support is in place, the place is great, opportunity everywhere

tis is the most ideal environment for building my professionalism

我真没想到剩下两天可以发生这事
让我更懂要珍惜
刚开始
我很烦， 要处理的last minute work 很多
到我听到这个震撼的新闻

她
是第一个走过来和我们破冰的
那时我觉得很不自在
是她
让我觉得是受欢迎的
然后开始在那个团体里活跃起来
她 很开朗
总爱开玩笑
跟她交谈都很愉快
我们没有很熟
可是她让我印象深刻
我真没想到年轻的她会在异国发生这种不幸
我真的很伤心

也就是在这种时刻
让我更加警惕自己
在国外一定得处处小心
记住自己爱的人

很遗憾发生了不幸
但是这不能让我却步
我只能告诉自己万事小心

不懂该怎么表达这种酸酸的感觉
有点沉重
